Surviving to Thriving - Outlook Conference 2009

In a move from the city, the 2009 conference will be held at the regional hub of Bunbury - close to the south west regions in the pleasant surroundings of the Sanctuary Golf Resort. The conference will also be a standalone function being staged separately to the Annual Awards night which will remain in Perth on November13.  The conference will allow for some solid plenary presentations mixed with focused break out sessions, combining for an informative, educational and interactive event. Catering for up to 200 registrations, the conference will also have exhibition opportunities for industry to promote its products during the breaks in the program.

The theme "Surviving to Thriving" reflects the direction of the presentations, looking at ways for wineries large and small to grow through the current downturn and build a future for the WA wine product in unique ways domestically and internationally.  The plenary sessions will include new media strategies, sustainability, new industry awards and a preview of the government's taxation review along with industry presentations.  The break out sessions will be divided into Technical, Marketing and Compliance streams. Industry sponsors should call to register their interest and early bird bookings are now being taken. For full information and details on the event, contact Richard Campbell at CMS Events on (08) 9228 9166 or richard@cmsevents.com.au.  CMS Events have taken on the management role for the conference and continue their long term relationship with the industry.
