Emerging Red Varietals

Tempranillo – Australian winemakers are now making waves with this variety - Spain’s top quality red variety and widely planted in Portugal.

Petit Verdot – found in Bordeaux and used in small quantities in a Medoc blend. This variety has the credentials to stand on its own two feet. – The Masterclass will show how Australia is exploring Petit Verdot’s potential.

Taste examples of Tempranillo and Petite Verdot and learn what makes these varieties such popular reds with today's wine consumers.
