This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the Board’s vision - that in 2020 Vinehealth Australia is recognised as the leader in grape and wine biosecurity knowledge across Australia.
The term of current Vinehealth Australia board members concludes on 30th June 2016, with a new Board taking ef ect from 1st July 2016. We are now seeking well qualif ed candidates for nomination to the SA Minister for Agriculture, Food and Fisheries.


The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction and overarching policies to meet the organisation’s objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements. In order to support its purpose and deliver its strategic plan, Vinehealth Australia requires a range of specialist skills across the Board.


It is seeking expressions of interest from persons who have proven experience, knowledge and
commitment to the improvement of the State’s grape growing and wine industries, and their protection from pests and disease. Applicants should also have demonstrated experience and credibility in one or more of the categories below:


• Strategic thinking
• Strategic communications
• Corporate governance
• Stakeholder engagement skills
• Risk management
• Scientif c rigour
