The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) in partnership with Wine Australia and the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) will be presenting the National Wine Tourism Conference: Beyond the Barrel as part of the $50 million Export and Regional Wine Support Package. This 3-day conference to be held in South Australia, will be packed with commercially relevant business meetings, engaging conference sessions and invaluable networking events and opportunities.
The conference program will cover key topics currently facing the industry along with plenary, panels and breakout sessions, featuring industry leaders and relevant keynote speakers. This is the opportunity for wine tourism businesses to work ‘on’ their products, think about how they can enhance visitation and encourage more spend into their business and region.
A key component of the conference is the commercial program for wine tourism products. A business to business program has been created for wineries to pitch their business to inbound tour operators and expressions of interest are now being sought for appropriate wine industry ‘seller’ delegates.
Expressions of interest are invited from:
- Wineries that are active in the domestic tourism market and looking to move into international markets
- Wineries that are currently active in international markets
- Tourism businesses offering winery experiences
Delegates must be currently working within the wine tourism industry (i.e. winery, cellar door, restaurant, tour operators, accommodation) and have decision-making capacity within their organisation.
ATEC reserves the right to select the appropriate seller delegates to ensure a balanced representation of wine tourism products and experiences.
